A very interesting article on The Devil's Playground. Give good insight into the film and the director.

Synopsis A review of the film The Devil's Playground, the article disucsses the major theme of the film - the upbringing of pubesent boys in a Roman Catholic Seminary in the Victorian countryside, through an autumn and winter of the 1950's.

The article goes on to disucss topics the film raises such as the segregated raising of youth and how the outlets for puberty are stifled by the church's mediaeval rules.

The article discusses some of the main characters of the film and the actors who play them. it discusses the documentary style of the film and the director's personal experiences which link him to the film.
