A not completely positive review of Flirting. Acting seems to be criticised however it is stated that the film is likeable with a genuine Australian flavour.
Synopsis The article begins by making reference to Flirting being the sequeal film to The Year My Voice Broke.

The Setting of the film is then discussed and the strength of the film in regard to the central situation and overall structure is questioned.

The plot is uncovered and a reference to Thandie Newton as a new young actor is made.

Taylor's acting is questioned in respect to not being truely convincing and reference is made to other actors as well.

The article finishes by mentioning that the film has won the AFI award for best film of 1990.
