Synopsis Written in 1981 the article reviews the production and success of Duigan’s latest film Winter of our Dreams. He talks about his reaction to the critical reviews of "Dimboola" and hypothesises the reasons behind its failure at the Box office. There was a lag between these production which he attributed to the lack of interest by funding bodies. The article launches into an analysis of "Winter of Dreams" providing a synopsis by the director. This extends into exploring the continuity between the characters throughout his previous works, specifically a comparison with the women in "Mouth to Mouth." He discusses how the films deals with social issues stemming back to the ‘radical 60’s’ and they effected the characters.
