Synopsis
An Australian Jewish comedy set in the affluent Eastern suburbs of Sydney, "Norman Loves Rose" has a strange story.

The lead character is Norman, a thirteen year-old schoolboy fascinated by sex. Norman's older brother Michael has been pressured by his overbearing parents into marrying Rose, a nice Jewish girl whom he doesn't love - and, no matter how hard they both try - can't impregnate. Nothing avails until Norman, who harbours a pubescent passion for Rose, achieves what his brother Michael could not. Rose becomes pregnant and everyone is happy, while she and Norman keep their scandalous secret quiet from everyone.
