Synopsis This film documents the life of The Pram Factory, an alternative performance space in Carlton in the 1970's. The film begins by exploring the APG's origins at La Mama Theatre in the late 60's and moves through the establishment of the Pram Factory and documents its history in a vaigue cronological manner.
The filmakers intercut found footage with recolective interviews by some of the main players in the Pram Factory phenomenon.

Themes touched on include, social context, polotics, styles of performance, film, drugs, alternative culture, feminism,socialism etc.
