McFarlane recounts how 'The Cars that Ate Paris' was taken by Weir and his producers to Cannes in 1974, where - in an attempt to lure people to see the film - they drove around dressed up a Volkswagen with plastic spikes viz one of the killer hot rods that 'starred' in the film. |
